Thinking B

Earlier we spoke about different topics that will be featured on this blog. Click here if you have no idea what I'm talking about. So we now welcome Thinking B's first post:

Capri pants saved me.  I went from a tall woman on a perpetual mission for pants with long legs to a woman with options everywhere!  And if I wear my high-water pants, no one knows, I'm fashionable now, I'll never really blend in with my height, but at least now it's not because of bad fashion.  One of the most tacky no-no's is having the wrong shape, height and fit of your pants.  For both men and women, pants have defined entire decades.  The pedal pushers of the 50's,  the leggings of the 60's, the bellbottoms of the 70's, the skin tight, tapered pant of the 80's, the high waisted, pleated straight leg pants of the 90's, and finally, finally the everything-goes-as-long-as-its-attractive of the 00's.  The first decade of the new millennium is the dawn of a new age in pant options.  Long, short, baggie, tapered, belled, low waist, high waist and anything you imagine.  Now it's about context and flattering the figure.  There is no 1 signature color palette, the color palette now is D) All of the above.   It's about freedom in defining our personal styles. This isn't going to change in 10 years, this is a fashion trend that is here to stay – wear what looks good on you.  So find the styles that save you, explore shapes, colors, lengths, waistlines, there are options for every figure, every height and every taste.  Express yourself and wear exactly what you want to wear.
